Buttons Panel

Many TWS windows allow you to create custom buttons that perform a specific action when clicked. Find the Buttons section for the specific window in Global Configuration.

Please note that order buttons allow you to select Instantaneous Transmit as a feature. If this is checked, the button will show an asterisk (*)next to its name.

To configure custom buttons

In Global Configuration, click Buttons under the desired TWS tool in the left pane.
Click New to add an action button.

In the Button Appearance area, click the text that reads "Button" and replace it with the new name for your custom button.
Change the text and background colors of the button by clicking the buttons and selecting a new color.
Select an action to assign to the button in the Choose Action area.
If available, you can further define the button action using the extended configuration choices in the Customize Action area. For example, if you create a BUY button, you could customize the action by assigning a default order type and time in force.
Click OK, and use Move Down/Move Up to position the buttons left to right on the Buttons panel. The buttons will appear in the Buttons panel of the window as shown below.
