Open ChartTrader

You can trade directly from a real-time chart using ChartTrader, which you display from the ChartTrader menu from within a chart. Send instantaneous orders by clicking directly in the chart, or create and modify an order from the Quote panel.

To open ChartTrader

  1. First open a real-time chart by selecting a contract on the trading screen and using the right-click menu to select Charts, then New Chart.
  2. From the View menu, select ChartTrader.
  3. The ChartTrader is activated and displays the Orders, Log, Trades and Portfolio panels.
